Day 1 Arrive/ Kinabalu Park (Overnight)
Meet and greet by our representative at your hotel or upon arrival
in Kota Kinabalu International Airport, proceed for an easy 2-hour
scenic drive to Kinabalu Park. It is a popular getaway from the
hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy the cool invigorating air.
Kinabalu Park – Malaysia’s first World Heritage designated by UNESCO
in December 2002 for its ‘outstanding universal values” and role as
one of the world’s most important biological sites.
The importance of Kinabalu’s botanical diversity is described as
“one of the richest assemblages of Plants in the world” by one of
the expert. This botanical paradise is blessed with an astonishing
variety of flora and fauna that range over 4 climate zones, from the
rich lowland dipterocarp forest through the montane oak,
rhododendron, and coniferous forests, to the alpine Meadow plants.
Kinabalu Park has probably one of the richest flora collections in
the world.
Upon arrival could visit the exhibition centre or step into
Wonderland by following any of the numerous trails around Kinabalu
Park, each filled With discovery. This botanical paradise of Borneo
is home to an estimated 1,200 species of orchids, 26 species of
rhododendrons, 9 species of Nepenthes pitcher plants, over 80
species of fig trees, over 60 species of oaks and chestnut trees,
100 species of mammals, 326 species of birds … the list goes on.
Then check in to the Chalet in Kinabalu Park. Dinner at Park’s
Restaurant. Overnight at the the Park . (Lunch & Dinner provided)
Day 2 Mt Summit Climb/Gunting Lagadan or Laban Rata Resthouse
Breakfast at the park. Proceed for Park Headquarter for registration
then take a transportation to the Timpohon Gate (Power Station) –
where the climb starts. Timpohon Gate at 1,866.4 m where the Summit
Trail starts. Nearby, lies Carson’s Fall where you can refresh
yourself. From here, Depending on individual’s fitness level, it is
an approximate 4 to 6 hour climb for the day. Conquering Mt.
Kinabalu does not require mountain-climbing skills, just basic
fitness. Packed Lunch in the way up.
Upon arrival check in to Gunting Lagadan or Laban Rata Resthouse
{dormitory type with bunk bed}. Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant.

Day 3 Mt Summit Climb/ Kinabalu Park/ KK 
0200hrs. Wake up for preparation before journey to the summit, at
0230hrs-0300hrs climbs for approximately 3-hour track. There are
ladders, hand railings and ropes to help you over the steeper parts.
You reach the final destination at Low’s peak, the summit of Borneo
at 4,095.2m. As you wait in the cold, dawn gradually creeps over the
horizon, illuminating the darkness with the light of a new day.
Watching sunrise at the top has been described by travelers
everywhere as a life -enriching experience In clear weather, you can
almost see all of Sabah spread out below. From this vantage point,
you will also see a dramatic drop more than 1,000 m drop – Low’s
Gully. A chasm stretching 16 km. in length, it separates the summit
plateau into the western and eastern plateaux,
Descending back to the resthouse before 10.00am. At around 10.00am,
clouds usually begin to form. These swirling clouds could obstruct
visibility. Breakfast at Laban Rata Resthouse. Then Descend to Power
Station and transfer to Park Headquarter. Lunch served at Park
Restaurant. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu town and transfer to your
hotel for check in. (Breakfast & Lunch provide)

Requirement for the trip :
Personal Items, insect repellent, sun tan lotion, own drinking
bottle, good walking shoe, warm clothing (wind or water-proof
clothes), high energy food (chocolate, nuts, raisins or glucose
sweets), gloves, hat/ cap, good torchlight, extra clothing, a second
pair of shoes, poncho or rain cot, paper tissues, a couple of
plastic bags, and first aid kit (headache tablets, plasters for cuts
or blisters)
